Agenda

This event will:

Bring together representatives of EU regional and local authorities, members of European institutions, INTERREG IIIC and IVC staff and other regional development experts;
Highlight achievements of regions working together and sharing regional development experience under INTERREG IIIC;
Launch the new programme for interregional cooperation: INTERREG IVC, and open the first call for applications.

In parallel to the programmed sessions, there will be an exhibition, meeting areas and other support for participants to find partners.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

A series of parallel workshops on IVC themes will run on Day 1 from 14h30 to 18h15. Groups will contain up to 20 participants, with one facilitator. Each workshop will follow the same format, in two parts. You can sign up for one or both workshops on the registration page. You can also propose your project to be used as examples in each workshop.

Workshop themes:
- innovation, research and technology development - entrepreneurship and SMEs
- the information society - employment, human capital and education
- natural and technological risks;
including climate change
- water management
- waste management - biodiversity and preservation of natural heritage ; including air quality
- energy; sustainable transport - cultural heritage and landscape
       
Other relevant workshops can be suggested on registration

  Workshop 1) IDENTIFYING AND PROMOTING RESULTS

Speakers give 1-2 examples of how their results, or identified approaches, came to be taken up by regional councils or other relevant bodies – 10 mins each
Participants in small groups note authorities or policymakers that have used or shown interest in project results identified in part 1), above. Each time, how was this done, what worked and what didn't, and what new ideas for informing and influencing such bodies in the future? – 45 mins

DETAILS DES ATELIERS

Une série d’ateliers parallèles sur les thèmes du IVC se tiendront le premier jour de 14h30 à 18h15. Les groupes seront composés de 50 participants au maximum, accompagnés d’un facilitateur. Chaque groupe de travail suivra un même format, en deux parties.

Présentation de un à deux outils IIIC, de guides ou de productions pertinentes similaires, produits par des projets présélectionnés sur ce thème.

La reprise des résultats par les Régions : aujourd’hui et dans le futur ?
Les orateurs donnent un à deux exemples de la manière dont leurs résultats, ou les approches qu'ils ont identifiées, ont été utilisées par des Conseils Régionaux et d'autres organismes. Les participants en petits groupes indiquent les autorités et les politiciens qui ont utilisé ou montré de l'intérêt pour les résultats identifiés par les projets dans la partie 1) ci-dessus. A chaque fois, il s'agit d'identifier la manière dont cela a été fait, les choses qui ont marché ou qui n'ont pas marché, et les nouvelles idées pour informer et influencer les structures dans le futur.
