On 20 and 21 September 2007, the European programme INTERREG IIIC is organising a forum to promote the results of cooperation between local and regional representatives from the 27 countries of the EU and to launch the INTERREG IVC programme 2007-2013.

This event will:

• Bring together representatives of EU regional and local authorities, members of European institutions, INTERREG IIIC and IVC staff and other regional development experts;
• Highlight achievements of regions working together and sharing regional development experience under INTERREG IIIC;
• Launch the new programme for interregional cooperation: INTERREG IVC, and open the first call for applications.

Results of interregional projects, new operation ideas, and partner profiles will be presented in an open exhibition.

Speakers

Danuta HÜBNER Commissioner for Regional Policy, European Commission (DG Regional Policy) will present the Regions for Economic Change initiative at 9am on Friday 21st September .
Michel DELEBARRE President of the Committee of Regions
Daniel PERCHERON President of the Conseil Regional Nord-Pas de Calais, Managing Authority of INTERREG IVC programme
INTERREG IIIC and IVC representatives as well as speakers of a selection of approved operations will also intervene.
