Norwegian partners could be partners in operations in all four INTERREG IIIC programme zones. The Norwegian government provided a separate budget of EUR 2.7 million Norwegian national funds for co-financing Norwegian partners involved in INTERREG IIIC operations. A high share of this amount was allocated in the first two application rounds. For this reason, for the rest of the funding period of the INTERREG IIIC programme, the Norwegian national co-financing was limited to a maximum of 30 % of the Norwegian share of the total eligible costs (until the full amount of the Norwegian INTERREG IIIC budget had been spent). This means the regional co-financing Norwegian partners hadto provide was later raised to 70%.

There were no separate procedures for Norwegian partners. Partners from Norway had to submit offical INTERREG IIIC application forms in cooperation with their regional partners from other countries. Since Norwegian partners were not allowed to administer ERDF-funds they could, however, only be functional Lead Partner in cooperation with a financial Lead Partner from an EU member state.

Croatia

Information for project partners from Croatia

National coordinator for INTERREG III C in Croatia was the Croatian Ministry for European Integration. Croatia was acting as a full member of the Programme and the official representative of Croatia in the Steering and Monitoring Committee of Programme Zone East was an Assistant Minister for European Integration.

To support the Croatian project partners in INTERREG III C the Ministry for European Integration provided a Croatian version of the Operative Programme and Programme Complement for Zone East. The mentioned documents as well as other relevant information on related activities can be found on the web site of the Croatian Ministry for European Integration www.mei.hr.

According to the results of the first Call for Proposals, Croatian partners participated in 9 projects, which were nominated in different INTERREG III C Zones. Two projects with Croatian project partners were selected for financing in Zone East.

Since the majority of project partners in INTERREG III Initiative from the Republic of Croatia were counties and towns/municipalities, the Ministry for European Integration provided a list of contact persons, which were INTERREG coordinators within counties, towns/municipalities and regional development agencies. Also, each line ministry had a contact person for INTERREG. Please find these lists in the download section below.

Switzerland

Information for project partners from Switzerland

In order to obtain INTERREG IIIC co-financing from the federal government, Swiss project partners had to submit the official application. The federal government contributed financially up to a maximum of 50% to Swiss participation in interregional projects. If the project received other federal subsidies, the amount of federal government support in the context of IINTERREG was reduced accordingly. Applications and guidelines are available at www.interreg.ch.
